CJC-1295 With DAC 5 mg
Description
CJC-1295 With DAC is a long-acting synthetic analogue of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH), developed for scientific research applications. It incorporates a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC), enabling reversible binding to serum albumin and significantly extending its circulation time compared to native GHRH.
Due to its prolonged half-life and enhanced stability, CJC-1295 With DAC has become one of the most extensively studied GHRH analogues in research involving endocrine signaling, pharmacokinetics, and growth hormone physiology.
Studies have demonstrated that albumin binding can extend biological activity from minutes to several days in experimental models, making it a valuable tool for long-term investigations.

Scientific Background
Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH) is a naturally occurring hypothalamic peptide responsible for stimulating growth hormone secretion through activation of the GHRH receptor, a Class B G protein-coupled receptor expressed on pituitary somatotroph cells.
Native GHRH exhibits a very short plasma half-life due to rapid degradation by enzymes such as dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV) and other proteolytic mechanisms, limiting its usefulness for prolonged experimental studies.
CJC-1295 With DAC was engineered from the biologically active GHRH(1–29) fragment and incorporates several amino acid substitutions that improve resistance to enzymatic degradation. Additionally, the peptide contains a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) based on a maleimidopropionic acid (MPA) group that covalently binds to the free cysteine-34 residue of circulating serum albumin.
This albumin-binding mechanism dramatically prolongs systemic exposure and enables sustained activation of GHRH signaling pathways in experimental models.
